A Ceremony with Table Mountain as a back drop

Hindu weddings are known for their vibrant colors, beautiful rituals, and rich cultural significance. The wedding ceremony of Vikash and Trupe was no exception, held in the Cape Town area of Blouberg with the majestic Table Mountain as a stunning backdrop.

On the wedding day, the couple exchanged garlands in a ceremony called Jaimala, followed by the Kanyadaan ceremony, where the bride's father gave her hand in marriage to the groom. The couple then took seven vows, called Saptapadi, while walking around a sacred fire. Each vow symbolizes a promise made by the couple to each other, including love, respect, and lifelong companionship.

The wedding ceremony ended with the Sindoor and Mangalsutra ceremony, where the groom applied sindoor (vermilion powder) on the bride's forehead and tied a mangalsutra (sacred necklace) around her neck. This signifies the bride's acceptance of the groom as her husband and the beginning of their lifelong union.

After the wedding ceremony, the couple and their wedding party headed to the beautiful Noordhoek beach for a sunset photoshoot. The couple looked stunning against the backdrop of the ocean and the setting sun, creating a romantic and unforgettable moment.

Overall, the wedding ceremony of Vikash and Trupe was a beautiful celebration of love, family, and tradition. The stunning setting of Blouberg with Table Mountain in the background provided a perfect backdrop for the occasion, and the sunset photoshoot in Noordhoek was the perfect ending to a magical day. It was a truly unforgettable experience for all those who were lucky enough to be a part of it.
